Ibrahim Kirya is optimistic Wakiso Giants will bag all three points when he takes on fellow Fufa Big League side, Kyetume FC in the quarter final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup on Tuesday, March 12.
The two sides played out a one-all draw in the league the last time they met in Kyetume.
“We will play a game that will call for maximum respect to our opponents but that won’t mean that we won’t attack them for goals come,” Kirya, the Wakiso Giants head coach told Uspa.
“We do not have so many injuries in our team as those previously out have returned to training and I expect them to be fit.
We will use the experience we have in our team and ensure we score early goals that guarantee us an easy win.”
Ayub Kisalita and Abdulkarim Ndugwa are some of the players expected to make the team on having returned from injuries.
Wakiso Giants tops the Elgon Group in the Fufa Big League, having defeated Bukedea Town Council 1-0 in their last league thanks to Steven Bengo’s lone strike in the 38th minute.
The two sides will then face off again in the top of the table clash on March 21.
