Proline FC will Thursday evening return into action with a tricky away match against Dove FC in Masindi in the StarTimes Fufa Big League.
The Rwenzori group leaders weren’t in action last week and instead used their rest to engage in a friendly match against university side MUBS which ended goalless. Shafiq Bisasso’s troops will miss the services of leading scorer Ivan Bogere who is ill and so is exciting winger Joshua Okiror who has just returned from a muscle injury.
On the other hand, their opponents were in action in the same week dropping two points away to Kireka United following a one all draw.
In the first meeting at the Star Times Stadium, Proline convincingly cruised past Dove with a 5-1 win and are highly optimistic they can pick up maximum points this evening in Masindi, according to Bisasso.
“It is a tricky match as Dove have proved to be a strong side home but with the preparations we have had and the character and belief in the team, I am optimistic we can get all the points although it will not be easy,” he said
Like wise midfield gem Bright Anukani believes they are set and ready to cruise past their opponents,
“Everyone in the team is ready, our coaches have prepared us well and we are aware of what is at stake, Dove is a difficult side home but I am sure at the end of the day we shall be the winners and go four points clear”
A win for Proline will open up four points gap on the log in the Rwenzori group to 32 points from 14 games while a win for Dove who are currently in fourth place will see them go on 29 points from 15 games.
