Nemostars Skipper George Aporu is optimistic his boys will make it to the semi-final of the Men’s Africa volleyball Club championship I Cairo on April 7,2019.

Nemo won all their pool D games to top the table which pooled them against Al Ahli sports Club of Libya in the semi-final at 2pm which is 3pm in Uganda.

“We are focused and we are ready for the challenge, but the boys have assured me that it time to write a mark by storming the semi-final,” Aporu said.

Meanwhile Uganda’s second side UCU Doves have also vowed to fight for the ninth position.

The University side that wrote mark by being Uganda first side to win two games on their debut, targets a win against Espoir of Congo today at 1pm which 2pm East African time and also winning their next position fixture.

“Guys we would be in the quarters, but lost focus. Let’s go and win these remaining games to return home ninth, “assistant captain John Mark Okurut told his players in a meeting.
