Motocross 85cc rider Kylan Wekesa will on Sunday July 21,2019 compete in the Kenya National Motocross Championship at Jamhuri Racing track Nairobi.

Kylan, third on the National championship log with 178 points, will use the Kenya championship as a build up to the Motocross of Africa Nations due August 31-september 1 in Zimbabwe.

Kylan manager Amos Wekesa who is also his father explained to USPA online that his riders including Zion Wekesa, Miguel Katende and Jonathan Katende target getting more experience and exposure.

” We took part in the Germany National Championship and he came 14th last month. He did wonders on 125 CC bike on his first attempt as we try to prepare for 2020 in the National Championships,” Wekesa added.

“Our endurance is what we have to better so as to equal the best and if we achieve this then we could be a force both in Africa and in the National championship” Wekesa explained.

Kylan has had five DNF’s this year with the latest being in the fourth round of the Mountain Dew National Motocross championship in Busiika when his bike ran out of fuel in the second heat.

The four riders are sponsored by Uganda Lodges.
