Ssentamu targets 2020
By Mubarak Kasule
Rider Fortune Sentamu has no doubt that 2019 has not the best for him as he head into the last round of the mountain Dew National Motocross Championship on Sunday November 24,2-019 at Garuga.
The 15 year-old has however promised to a trophy full 2020.
“I will do my best to give the leader Wazir Omar a run for his money on Sunday but I know chances of taking the 2019 trophy are minimal,” Ssentamu said.
My disappointment was in the second round of the championship but this spurred me on to come out stronger and stronger.
The Garuga track is redesigned and all changes made are a joy to go through. I will come out guns blazing for the show although I only see myself finishing as the first runner up this year” added Ssentamu.
Ssentamu is defending champion in the 85CC class despite moving to the MX125cc class this year.
The Orland brothers Alon, Stav and Aviv will not be racing in Garuga but will join the national team in Kenya on December 6-7 for the FIM CAC championship.
The event sponsored by Mountain Dew, Shell Advance, Fire and Safety Appliances, Fotogenix, AON and Uganda Lodges will also see a shakedown of the top 10 rally cars after the bikes.
