Rugby Cranes tactician Robert Sseguya is to stay as national coach till his two year contract expires.
Uganda Rugby Union chief Executive officer Ramsey Olinga Ndir confirmed the development saying that he is the most qualified coach the country has at the moment.
“There is no need for panic .To be honest with you, Sseguya is more qualified than all coaches in the country including soutrh african tactician John Duncan, only that our players are the problem,” Olinga said.
Duncan is the south African tacticain that was been working with Sseguya during the Rugby Africa tournament in 2018/2019.
“We took him for training in south Africa and tactfuly is the best, but our players just have that inferiority complex when it comes to colour,” he added.
Ndir however, admitted that sseguya is still wanting in human management and they are considering a highly qualified manager to replace Bob Omuna.
Sseguya aformer Hima Cement Heathens coach is curently coaching Jinja Hippos Rugby club in the Nile Special Premier Rugby League.
