The Pool Association of Uganda (PAU) is worried that they may lose the De’ Arena Club venue on Namirembe Road when the season returns to action.
This is after the ownership of the Club changed this month of July to another person from Bob Tamale the proprietor of De’Arena Club.
“It is true the ownership of De’Arena Club has changed and we only pray that the new tenant allows the sport to continue at the premises,” PAU publicist Peter Kyobe said.
“The owner of the premised Geoffrey Mabirizi informed us that we should get in touch with the new tenant and we are hoping that he will be positive,” Kyobe added.
The Arena was home of former champions CKI Pool Club owned by artist Bob Tamale, but was dissolved last year.
