Sports is a tool that builds a holistic person and that is the reason parents continue to enroll their children in motorcycling.

The Mitima brothers, Elly, Isaac and Dan are the latest riders to join the Motorcycling sport under Motorcycling Association (MAU).

Elly (50cc) Isaac(65cc) and Dan (85cc) will start training this month at the Uganda Motorsport Arena (UMA) the home of MAU in Busiika.

“We are humbled by the number of riders who continue to join us despite the tough time of Covid,” MAU spokesperson Peter Ndiwalana said.

Mr Mitima picked interest in the sport from a parent who has active kids in motocross after tagging along during our weekend training. He greatly appreciates the support and warm reception accorded to him.

“It is like every parent here is willing to help and you are a family here,” Mitima noted.

Ndiwalana added that their 65cc and 85cc bikes are ready and only waiting for the 50cc bike which will be in the country soon.

The trio join 4year-old, Jude Kyle Musede and his brother Edrick Musede, Leone Ntale, brother to Liam Ntale, Kelvin Asiimwe and Christian Ntambi (4years).

Ndiwalana said that as MAU they will continue to recruit more riders into the sport.
