Luzira Soccer Academy, Luzira Football Club, Hapana Drugs organisation headed by Anne Ssebunya, Senoga Aids/HIV and Rev: Father Isidore Mbalemba Children Initiative were the beneficiaries of Patrick Kabuye donation.
The former Bell FC , KCC FC and Youth International (Uganda U-18-U-23) teamstar based in the germany annually solicits support from American family friends living and working in Germany to give to the different youth supporting groups in Uganda.
They include Dickens Family, Cook Family. Nalker Family, Buchanan Family,Malone Family and others.
Luzira Soccer Academy manager Kigozi Ganafa thanked Kabuye for the continued support and requested other former sports stars out there to support their respective disciplines.
“I want to thank Kabuye for this support and also appeal those other people out there to emulate Kabuye,”
“We have a lot of talent in Uganda, but the biggest challenge is lack of resources to buy equipment and also pay coaches who train these young players. So, such support gives us and these young players hope that the future is bright,” He added.
Kabuye in his message said that he was one of the children that were helped by Father Mbalemba and he is humbled to also support the disadvantaged children.
“We should come out and support those who are supporting the disadvantaged ones because in doing so they are giving hope to them which is good for the communities they come from and the country in general,” Kabuye explained.
